I have been a writer, journalist and editor for over twenty-five years specialising in all aspects of drug use and addiction and also popular music - rock, jazz and blues. I have an extensive portfolio of books and articles - from popular biography and books for young people through to peer-reviewed academic articles. I am a regular contributor to MOJO and other UK music magazines

I am currently the editor of Druglink, for the UK's major drug charity DrugScope and I am in charge of DrugScope's publishing programme
