Findings logo

Drug and Alcohol Findings is devoted to evidence on the effectiveness of interventions to treat, prevent or reduce drug and alcohol problems.

Our target audience consists of practitioners, managers, commissioners, and others involved in drug and alcohol services and interventions who want to improve their effectiveness by reference to research findings.

The accent is on UK-relevant research. Each study is set in the context of previous research and related to the UK policy and practice context in order to draw out the implications for practice. Also featured in each issue are reviews of the evidence on selected priority topics.
